Drone Paintings from 2013 MFA Program

These are two of my drone paintings from the MFA program in 2013. At the time drones were not in the news yet, but they were here and there online. These two paintings fearure surveillance drones that can take pictures and video. Today the TV News showed a very similar drone being used by a criminal to find entries and plan out crimes. Luckily he was caught,  and had his surveillance drone in the backseat of his car. My paintings are oil paint, wax and graphite on archival board. They are painted from actual photos found on the Internet back then. They however were up to better things, news photos and scientific mapping.
