MFA 2014 EXHIBITION INSTALLATION

These are two photos from my MFA Graduate Exhibition at the Lehman Gallery, May 2014. The ten work installation that the viewer is in front of is my contribution to the show. As you can see the paintings are very tiny, most of them have been shown on this blog individually as they were completed. There are alot more that were also part of the project, but for the final installation we decided to edit down to ten. They are all 5"x7" , oil on boards, and framed in Matte black floater frames. Hanging the installation straight took hours, and would never have been achieved without the help of my friend Shang-Ping Liu, also an MFA Graduate in the exhibition.

First Street Gallery National MFA Competition Show 2014

Every year the First Street Gallery in NYC, has a national MFA student and Graduate juried Show in July. I am so excited to announce that I am going to be in the show this year. The juror, Asya Geisberg of the Aysa Geisberg Gallery in Chelsea , chose three of my paintings to be in the show. I don't want to spoil the surprise by posting them here now, but I will when the show opens later this month. For now, here is a favorite not in the show
